Yes, we really did call it Crapfest!  After all, it is a festival in Crapstone...

Crapfest is a fund riasing event organised on behalf of Buckland Monachorum Cricket Club.  The aims of the event are as follows:

 

• To help raise money for a new cricket pavilion for the members of BMCC

• To raise the profile of local bands

• To provide a fun and affordable event for the whole family

• ...and to have a good time

 

Crapfest was first run in summer 2010 at the cricket club's pitch in Crapstone, since then it has moved to a larger site within the village.  The event is put on with the help of local sponsors, bands and helpers; none of the volunteers get paid for the work they do and they buy their own tickets, too!

 

We are always looking for sponsors to help cover the cost of the event and would be happy to hear from anyone who may be interested; in return for sponsorship we can offer on site advertising and tickets.
